Continuing with our 2010 - 11 Capitals Awards Ceremony, the bloggers of Rock the Red would like to acknowledge the following award recipients which are not up for debate due to tangible results throughout the season. ...and the winners are!

Art Ross Trophy awarded to the National Hockey League player who leads the league in scoring points at the end of the regular season:
Alex Ovechkin (85P) followed by Nicklas Backstrom (65), Alex Semin (54) and Brooks Laich (48)

Maurice "Rocket" Richard Trophy awarded to the leading goal scorer in the National Hockey League:
Alex Ovechkin (32G) followed by Alex Semin (28), Mike Knuble (24), and Nicklas Backstrom (18)

Plus/Minus Award awarded to the NHL's hockey "player, having played a minimum of 60 games who leads the league in plus/minus statistics":
A tie! Nicklas Backstrom and Alex Ovechkin (+24) followed by Alexander Semin (+22), John Carlson (+21) and Brooks Laich (+14)

Remember, all distinctions are awarded pretending that the Washington Capitals are the only team in the NHL and we are the sole voters in the PHWA. See last years' winners here.
