Practice Notes: Deadline Day

10:15am: Tom Poti is on the ice skating by himself. Kettler is fairly empty of fans today, so far.

10:19am: Eric Fehr is on the ice in a light blue jersey taking shots.

10:39am: Practice is in full swing, all hands on deck. Marco Sturm is on the second line wearing #18.

Red Line: Ovechkin-Backstrom-Knuble

Gray Line: Sturm-Johansson-Semin

Green Line: Chimera-Laich-Beagle

White Line: Hendricks-Steckel-Bradley

Powder Blue: Fehr-Gordon-King

Defense: Poti, Carlson, Alzner, Schultz, Hannan, Sloan, Erskine

Goalies: Varlamov and Neuvirth [Jared DeMichiel is in net for the Caps on his way from Hershey to South Carolina.]

10:40am: Marco Sturm does not appear to be limited by his knee injury, he was showing off his wheels in drills.

10:51am: Tom Poti left the ice. Fehr joined the Laich-Beagle along with Jason Chimera, King put on a white jersey.

11:06am: It is now Bradley-Gordon-Hendricks in white.

11:09 am: Mid-ice collision-linemates Johansson and Semin ran into each other at the blueline. The gray line came off the ice.

11:19am: Fehr is taking part in contact drills.
